About Jeff
After taking a keen interest in Photography in the late 80s, Jeff got his first job in the photography field around 1990
when he was hired by F. Paul Galeone Photographers in Timonium as a photographer as well as lab and studio worker.
He spent about three years there working in the studio, out in the field, and in the labs. He worked with individuals and groups of all ages,
but specialized in sports photography. He built his own dark room and operated it until the digital wave finally swept him up.
He spent many years as a technology and management consultant where he undertook numerous projects in digital imaging,
including document capture for businesses and digital evidence collection for federal law enforcement. He also specialized in
cutting-edge web development projects. Today Jeff is heavily involved in the Internet Marketing field through his company Mims Innovations.
Much of photo and video work is used for various web projects.
Ever the entrepreneur, Jeff has successfully owned and operated his own businesses since 1993. After selling his technology company in 2006,
Jeff took a more active role in the photography field. Today he operates his studio part-time and works with professional models, ad agencies, and
corporate clients, as well as aspiring models and those looking for portraits for a variety of purposes. Jeff does accept photo assignments on occassion, and sells
his images through various web sites as well as directly through this site.
