Frequently Asked Questions |
| Do you do TFP/TFCD Sessions? |
Yes, on a very limited basis. At this time we can only accept female models.
Please email us a photo (does not need to
be professional) and a summary of your previous modeling experience as well as
the type of session you're interested in. If you are selected for a TFP session
you will be contacted and arrangements will be made. Please note that we grant
a limited license for the use of photos taken during a TFP session to the
model(s). This license confers the right to use these images for non-commercial
use in the model's personal portfolio only.
Also note, that if you are selected
for a TFP session, we do not try to upsell additional services nor will we
ever charge you for services that were part of the TFP arrangement. The only exception
are fees for last-minute rescheduling or for arriving late to the session. See our policies
on cancellation and arriving late to your session.

| Can you fix imperfections? |
Yes we can retouch photos electronically, including fixing various imperfections when necessary.
It should be understood that this is a time consuming process. If the goal of a session is to produce
a few final images, some retouching is fine. But if the goal is to produce a large number of images
our goal will be to set up photos that need as few adjustments as possible.
So yes, we can easily remove bruises, scars, and minor imperfections, but we will not normally make major changes
such as heavily altering skin tone, removing tan lines, or fixing makeup problems. Simply put we ask
you to please show up as you'd like your photos to appear, instead of relying on digital correction.

| What should I bring to my Business Studio Session? |
Please be sure to follow the standards set forth by your company for the session. Many companies
want uniformity in the photos. You will be advised before the shoot of any specific uniforms or colors.
If you are not advised on what to wear, please try to bring two outfits of appropriate formality, one light in color and one dark.
Be sure to bring whatever hair styling supplies you may need as well as any
makeup supplies. Men please remember to shave prior to your session.
|
| What should I bring to my modeling studio session? |
If you are doing a standard (two hour) studio session, bring a large
assortment of clothing in varying styles and colors. Please try not to bring
all black or all white clothing. If in doubt, bring it along. Feel free to
bring whatever styles of clothing you want your pictures in. Some examples
include fashion/dress, casual, sports/fitness, lingerie, swimsuits, and even
costumes and uniforms.
Be sure to bring whatever hair styling supplies you may need as well as any
makeup supplies.
Everyone should bring valid state-issued identification and payment in the form
of cash or a check. At this time we regret that we cannot accept credit cards at the studio,
though we can accept payment in advance via PayPal.
|
| What documents will I need to sign? |
In many cases a model release is required. If you do wish to sign a model
release, you must indicate the intended use of the photographs and a decision
will be made. Please inform us prior to your session if this is the
case, as it may affect pricing. Image retouching and finishing will not be
included without a model release.
A copy of our model release can be found by clicking here.
|
| Do you accept models under the age of 18? |
Yes, but the model must have the consent of his or her parent or guardian, and
a parent or guardian must sign the model release. For those under the age of
16, the parent or guardian must accompany the model and must stay throughout
the session.
|
| May I bring an escort to my studio session? |
Yes, absolutely. We do ask that you please inform us prior to your session if
you are bringing an escort so that arrangements can be made. Please be sure to
bring someone who is not going to make you uncomfortable in front of the
camera, and who will not cause interuptions during the shoot. We normally ask escorts
not to watch the photo shoot because it tends to make the models nervous.
|
| What is your Cancellation Policy? |
We understand that things come up, so our policy is simple. We ask that you cancel
or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. The photographer must travel
to the studio prior to the session to set up, so last minute cancellations are extremely
costly to the studio.
If you must cancel at the last minute or you do not show up for your appointment, there is
a minimum cancellation fee of $100 that must be paid in advance in order to reschedule your photo shoot.
This is to compensate the photographer for the use of the studio and time spent waiting.
Please note this is the fee for the photographer and the studio. Makeup artists and third parties involved may charge
their own fees for cancellation and rescheduling.
Please note if you were hired as a paid model for a specific project, this cancellation policy
applies to you as well. The $100 fee will be deducted from any modeling fees paid.
|
| What if I'm late for my appointment? |
Our time is extremely valuable, and unfortunately the studio is not a place where we can
get much work done other than taking photos. So because the photographer must arrive well ahead of the
scheduled time to set up the studio, he will be expecting you to arrive at the agreed upon time.
If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we will begin charging you at our standard
hourly rate of $100 per hour. If you feel you might be late, please notify the photographer as soon as
possible.
Unless the photographer tells you otherwise, he will not wait more than 30 minutes past the scheduled time
for an appointment.
Please note, you are expected to arrive at the studio ready for your session. Please notify us in advance if you
believe you will need more than 5-10 minutes to prepare for your first photos. This does not apply if your appointment
includes a third-party makeup artist or hairstylist.
|
| Do I need to confirm my appointment? |
Yes! You must confirm your appointment. We require all models to call the photographer on the day of their appointment to confirm their photo/video appointment.
If the photographer does not get confirmation for the appointment, he will not go to the studio.
|
| What if I'm sick or have a rash, injuries, etc? |
If a model has illness, injuries, or other anomalies that show up near our shoot day, the model should inform the photographer as soon as possible.
For example, if a model has a rash or numerous visible bruises the photographer needs to be informed because it may impact the amount of time required to retouch the photos.
In some cases it may be best to reschedule the shoot.
